Google’s Feedburner has become quite the success story in the realm of RSS feeds. Feedburner allows the blogger to customize subscription e-mails by altering the text and link color, font size, and the ability to insert the company logo. The best part, Feedburner provides you with a piece of code that you can add to the sidebar of your Wordpress blog. This code will allow people to enter an email address and subscribe to your blogs updates, allowing new blog updates to be sent straight to their inbox. Search engine optimization demands a keyword assignment. Let me tell you why.
SEO Goals
The SEO keyword assignment helps you determine the goals of the campaign. Without goals, how can you measure success? First, you need to determine the scope of the project, i.e. how many pages will you be optimizing for search? Following that, you need to attribute specific keywords to each of those pages. Once you know how many pages you will be optimizing, and what the keywords are that you would like to get those pages ranked for, you can then start search engine optimization.

Let’s be honest here, SEO (and organic online marketing in general) is changing. The main reason for this, well, it’s a simple changing of the guard. Google is still the dominant website to focus SEO efforts on, but there are some serious new players online that are attracting traffic numbers that rival Google, and this cannot be ignored. Who are the major organic traffic players now beyond Google? Some include Bing, Yahoo, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, LinkedIn, Wikipedia, Digg, Google Places and industry niche sites. This diversification in online traffic potential demands a well distributed organic online marketing portfolio.

These days it seems anyone with a camera can call themselves a photographer, anyone with a computer can be a published author, and anyone engaging in social networking can call themselves a social media expert and sell social media marketing. But of course we know these people are not really these things unless they have truly acquired such expertise through many years of experience and a track record of success within that industry. This is especially important to understand when choosing a social media company to guide your company’s internet marketing initiatives. With so much at stake, here are some tips to follow when searching for the right match for your company.

SEO is hard. Whaa, whaa, right? I can almost hear you saying it now. “Everyone’s job is hard.” Well I’m not sure if I agree with that. The guy who works at the movie theater looks like he has a pretty easy job to me. I mean he looks hungover half the time. But that is neither here nor there.
What I’m here to address today is a common theme in SEO, that being, the length of time it takes to rank for certain keywords. I’m bringing up this issue because there is a common misconception that SEO can happen overnight when in fact it definitely cannot.
So Twitter just came out with this new feature, Twitter lists. Crazy right?! Are you as excited as the rest of the world?! Whether you are or aren’t, there are some things you’re going to want to know, and, well, here they are.
Twitter lists are a simple new way for Twitter users to organize their contacts. The lists are created by users and appear in the right hand sidebar of a users profile.

When people are just getting into pay per click advertising they are often so excited to see traffic going to their site, that they don’t even think about whether it’s converting or not. As time progresses they start to realize, “who cares if people are going to my site, I’m not selling squat!”
That’s where landing pages come in. Because like a hotdog and a beer at a baseball game, pay per click and landing pages go hand in hand. Let me tell you why.
Sure you might convert some traffic if you are sending large amounts of visitors to your site. In fact, you could be converting a decent amount of traffic. But with a good landing page you can convert more traffic for less.

OK, there may not be one secret to GREAT blogging. But there are some things that can help you get the most out of your blog posts.
What do you want to get out of your blog? Do you want to get press coverage, other bloggers to notice you, add keywords to your site, improve your internal linking, vent about a topic? Do you want your blog to go viral on social media? My guess is you probably want all of these things, right? But it’s not really that easy. First determine your goal, following that you can create a blog strategy that will help you accomplish your goal.
When writing a blog, possibly the most important thing to focus on is tailoring it correctly to your reader. Write on the topics they like, write in a voice they like to read, and engage them as you would in a real world situation.
If you’re going to comment on something, make sure it is worth commenting on. There are always hot items in the news that related to your industry or niche.

In this post I’m going to give you the basics of SEO so that next time you’re chatting it up with some Internet folk you have something to say.
SEO stands for “Search Engine Optimization,” and that is exactly what SEO experts try to do, optimize an online search engine, like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Live, Ask, or AOL for search. But what exact do they mean by optimize for search? This means that SEO experts are trying to make your website appear higher on the search engine results page when people search for terms related to your site. We call these terms keywords.
