Recently it became clear that Google +1s are helping YouTube video optimization. This is a huge deal. Google is making a massive push with Google + Your World and this is a new and important element of the puzzle.

I actually think it is very cool, much better than using simple backlinks with anchor text to determine rankings. Anyways, this is just a quick blurb to make you aware of the update. If someone in your network +1s a video and you visit YouTube while logged in you will see the video on the home page of YouTube. Think of the video marketing implications!
